Beta GW 5.5.3 Release Notes

Features, Improvements and Bug fixes

Improved Alarm/Alert Messaging

  • Provide messages that are easily understandable and actionable.

Improved Fan Control Messaging

  • Updated fan control event messages that provide a clear concise fan control message enabling users to understand more easily what has happened with both fan and/or heaters on a particular bin.

Smoother NADH to NAD Failover

  • Improves the transition from NADH fan/heater automation to NAD automation should the need arise. When NADH setpoints are set the Gateway will now also send the NAD setpoints to ensure should the failover from NADH to NAD be required that the system has the required NAD setpoint to resume fan automation without the need for manual intervention as required previously.

Increased Flexibility with NAD and Aeration Failover

  • Users have the ability in the Advanced Fan Settings to select the control mode (NAD/Aeration) to Retry Indefinitely should the fan not start as expected. By choosing Retry Indefinitely the control mode will no longer switch to manual after reaching the maximum number of retries.

Alert Notifications on First Time Fan and/or Heater Failure to Start

  • Alert notifications have been added should the fan and/or heater fail to start during any control automation mode. These alerts will occur the first time the fan and or heater fails to start to create aware of a potential issue.

Updated Gateway Status

    • Gateway Status improvements to better reflect what is happening with the Gateway and to better assist an installer’s ability to configure a system

Bug Fixes

Fan Warming Override

  • There are times when erratic fan warming values maybe reported by the system. These erratic fan warming values can prevent or effect fan/heater automation. Should this condition occur, the user can override the calculated fan warming values in the Advanced Fan Settings. This enables the system to use the override setpoints to ensure efficient fan runtime instead of the calculated fan warming values.

Adjustments to Minimum Run Time

  • The set minimum fan runtime ensures the fan stays on for the minimum set time value even if conditions have changed. This fix ensures that the set minimum fan runtime is adhered to by the system as under certain circumstances previously this might not have been the case.

Various Gateway Crashes

  • Further stability added to avoid potential Gateway crashes during boot-up and also during failover from NADH to NAD automated control modes.
