How do I use my BLUE Lite device to program (address) cables?

You can use your BLUE Lite Device to program sensing cables and elements the same way you can use a StorMax Monitor to program this equipment.

To program a Moisture Cable or StorMax Cable Element, please follow these instructions:

1. Power up your BLUE Lite device and login to the BLUE Lite App on your phone.
   
   
   
   
2. Connect the BLUE Lite device to your phone via the available Bluetooth connection.
   
   
3. Select "Program Cable" on the Menu on the left-hand side of the phone screen.
   
   
   
   
4. Make sure that your BLUE Lite device is connected to the cable readout point (the readout point on the side of the bin in the case of single cable bins, or the cable header on top of the bin structure in the case of multi-cable bin installations).
   
   
5. Select "Discover Cable" on your phone.
   
   
   
   
6. Once the cable is discovered, enter the new cable number and select "Program Cable". NOTE: The range of Cable Numbers available for use is 1-248. Any number chosen outside of that range will result in errors assigning the cable number and reading the cable. 
   
   
   
   
7. After the command is sent, you will see the cable data readings in a table view. At this time you can disconnect the cable as it is successfully programmed.
