[BLUE Lite](https://knowledge.opisystems.com/en/knowledge/blue-lite?hsLang=en) # How do I use my BLUE Lite device to program (address) cables? ## You can use your BLUE Lite Device to program sensing cables and elements the same way you can use a StorMax Monitor to program this equipment. To program a Moisture Cable or StorMax Cable Element, please follow these instructions: 1. Select "Program Cable" on the Menu on the left-hand side of the phone screen. ![](https://knowledge.opisystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/shared%20image%20(68)-jfif.jpeg?width=263&height=505&name=shared%20image%20(68)-jfif.jpeg) 4. Make sure that your BLUE Lite device is connected to the cable readout point (the readout point on the side of the bin in the case of single cable bins, or the cable header on top of the bin structure in the case of multi-cable bin installations). 5. Once the cable is discovered, enter the new cable number and select "Program Cable". **NOTE:** The range of Cable Numbers available for use is 1-248. After the command is sent, you will see the cable data readings in a table view.
