Connecting a Node to a Gateway without cables
Question: Is it possible to connect a node to a gateway if the node has no cables?
Answer: Yes, it is possible.
Technically the top of the cable node is the radio and that is what gets mapped to the gateway. The bottom is the CNE board and that connects to the top to present cable data.
This is great for additional troubleshooting in the instance where you want to bring the cable node down to attempt to map it to the gateway.
