How to verify what version of Windows I have.

Follow these steps to determine which Windows operating system is running on your computer.

1. Click the Start or Windows button (usually in the lower-left corner of your computer screen).
   
   
   
2. Click Settings.
   
   
   
3. Click About (usually in the lower left of the screen). or type About in the search bar above. Click About your PC. 
   
   
4. The resulting screen shows the edition of Windows you have on the PC.
