This article explains how the CO2 sensors will be installed in the system
The Grain Quality (CO2) Sensor has been added to the current Plenum Sensor (PPOT) used for fan control in OPI Blue. With the changes, It will continue to be installed in the same manner that the Plenum Sensor is installed today. In these installations, the Grain Quality Plenum Sensor (BLUE-PGQS) will be installed and connected into the Fan Node enclosure. (Fig. 1)

A second Grain Quality (CO2) Sensor has been added into the headspace of a storage structure. The Headspace Grain Quality Sensor (Blue-HGQS) will be installed on the storage structure roof and installed with the sensor protruding down into the headspace. This Headspace sensor will get connected into a Multi-Channel Cable Node (CN08) through a three-wire termination and provide CO2 data on an hourly basis. (Fig. 2)
