How do I find out the address of my Cable?

The article guides you to find and identify the address of a new or replacement OPI Blue cable.

  1. On each cable, there is a little black lead wire that usually plugs into the current lead wire that goes back to the RTU. On that Lead wire, it will have a reading stating A1, A2, or whatever cable address was assigned at creation. That shows the address of the cable.
  2. Another way to find out what the address of the cable is, would be to plug the cable into an RTU directly without any other cable connected and it will show the address.

NOTE:

  • If we know what cable address to set it to before production, then we will have it showing on the lead wire and it will show up with the correct address at the tip of the wire and on the system. Otherwise, the cable will be assigned a default address of  A1.
  • To reprogram a cable address, you will need a need a Stormax monitor.

Kindly follow steps in the article linked below, to program/reprogram your cables using a Stormax monitor.
